Department of Juvenile Justice
The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice, nationally
recognized for its substance abuse treatment program in a juvenile correctional
facility, operated in conjunction with The Gateway Foundation and certified
by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
awarded Pro-Construction to restore this beautiful mansion, scheduled
to be demolished.
Pro-Construction, by careful planning with the Virginia Historical Foundation,
all of the redesign and engineering, completely restored the exterior
of the building, which included repair and replacement of the slate roof,
window treatments, moldings and complete restoration of the double porch’s
original beauty.
